The first few weeks with your new baby will go by so quickly, and we are positive that you’ll never want to forget just how tiny those toes (and fingers, and noses, and lips) once were. It is so important to preserve these precious moments. Newborns are our favorite, and our goal is to create beautiful portraits that celebrate the life and the family you have created.
Our studio is located in Winterport, Maine (15 minutes outside of Bangor).
$500 | FULL SESSION
Up to 3 hours. All pose options. 3 backdrops/settings. Include parents and/or siblings. Minimum of 35 final images. High-resolution digitals with print release.
$400 | MINI SESSION
Up to 1.5 hours. Wrapped/swaddled poses only. 1-2 backdrops/settings. Baby only. Minimum of 20 final images. High-resolution digitals with print release.

OUR STYLE
Our style is clean and timeless, and the focus will always be on baby. Your baby’s safety is our utmost priority, so we focus on simple, natural positions. Props can be incorporated if you have an item that is particularly special. We will work with you to help determine your color preferences based on how you intend to use the images (for home decor, in an album, etc).
WHEN
We prefer to schedule newborn sessions within baby’s first 7-21 days. This is the time when they are extra sleepy, so the typical result is stress-free images. If your baby is older (or if you are unable to visit our studio within the first 21 days due to medical reasons), please reach out – we’d still love the opportunity to photograph your sweet babe in poses that work best for “older” babies!
WHERE
The Wild & Sweet Photography Co. studio focuses on newborn photography. Located in Winterport, Maine, we are within an easy driving distance from the greater Bangor, Belfast, and Ellsworth communities. Our studio is a calm, relaxing environment. It is kept extra warm for babies, and we have a variety of backdrops, blankets, wraps, and hats/headbands available to make your baby’s session truly unique!
GETTING READY
Prior to your session, I will send you an information guide with details on how to prepare so that you feel confident and ready for your session! Parents and siblings are asked to wear plain, neutral clothing in light colors (cream, white, tan, blush or light gray). Babe will usually be in his/her birthday suit for most of the session. We work around baby’s schedule, so plan to be here for a few hours to allow for ample feeding/cuddle time. If siblings under age 5 will be present, we ask that there are two caregivers on-site (one to tend to baby, and one to tend to the older sibling). It’s preferable that siblings under age 5 are present for the first part of the session, but are taken on an “adventure” (walk down the street, a car ride, coffee run, etc) to ensure the studio remains quiet for your newborn’s comfort.
